On November 20, 2023, University “Fehmi Agani”, represented by Rector Prof. Ass. Dr. Drilon Bunjaku, and Prof. Dr. Lekë Sokoli, Director of the Albanian Institute of Sociology in Tirana, signed a cooperation agreement.

This agreement foresees mutual support in fulfilling the missions of both institutions, the development of social and human sciences, exchange of experiences, publication of academic texts, organization of an annual international conference, and the possibility of a dedicated session within this conference honoring the political and sociological thought of the late Professor and academic Fehmi Agani.

The meeting was also attended by the Vice Rector for International Cooperation and Projects, Prof. Ass. Dr. Nazli Tyfekçi; the Vice Rector for Research, Academic Development and Quality Enhancement, Prof. Ass. Dr. Arben Boshnjaku; and the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof. Ass. Dr. Ferdi Kamberi.

The management of both institutions expressed appreciation and gratitude to Prof. Ass. Dr. Ferdi Kamberi and Prof. Asoc. Dr. Besim Gollopeni for initiating this important agreement.
