On November 14, 2024, University “Fehmi Agani” marked the 4th anniversary of the establishment of the Faculty of Social Sciences with a ceremony held in the presence of students, academic staff, and institutional leaders.

The Rector of the university, Prof. Ass. Dr. Drilon Bunjaku, delivered a welcoming speech to congratulate and acknowledge the achievements of the faculty since its establishment. He expressed gratitude for the dedication of the staff and the success of the students, who represent the core strength of the faculty.

Following this, the Vice Dean, Prof. Ass. Dr. Sherif Sejdiu, highlighted the contribution of both staff and students in enhancing the faculty’s reputation.

Subsequently, the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof. Ass. Dr. Ferdi Kamberi, reflected on the faculty’s development over the past four years and also presented future goals to the audience.

During the event, a presentation was also given on the life and work of the intellectual Fehmi Agani, after whom the university is named, highlighting his role in promoting social and cultural values.

At the ceremony, Rector Prof. Ass. Dr. Drilon Bunjaku was awarded a certificate of appreciation for his engagement and contribution to the advancement of the faculty. Former rectors Prof. Asoc. Dr. Zeqir Hashani and Prof. Asoc. Dr. Artan Nimani, as well as student Arizona Syla, were also honored.

The ceremony concluded with words of gratitude and wishes for continued success, marking a significant moment in the history of the Faculty of Social Sciences.
