The University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova, in cooperation with the Non-Governmental Organization Caritas Kosova, today held an informative lecture on the topic “Accessible Communication” within the framework of the ACTIVE 2 project “Accessible Communication towards the inclusion of vulnerable and excluded people in the Western Balkans”.

The lecture was given by lecturer MSc. Blerina Vehbiu with the active participation of students of the Faculty of Social Sciences, who had the opportunity to get to know more closely: the basic concepts, principles and standards of Easy and Accessible Language, as well as Easy Reading and their importance in the inclusion of marginalized groups in society. In addition to the theoretical part, the lecture also included practical exercises where students worked in groups to simplify existing texts and create accessible materials for people with disabilities and various communication problems.

This lecture is part of the cooperation between the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova and Caritas Kosova with the aim of raising awareness and educating new generations about the importance of accessible communication.
