
Academic Staff of the Faculty of Social Sciences Holds Consultative Meetings with Students on Launching the Master's Program
As part of the planning process for the new Master’s program, the academic staff of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Gjakova “Fehmi Agani” held two important meetings with undergraduate students of the faculty. These meetings aimed to inform students about the proposed models for the Master’s program, gather their perceptions and attitudes, and discuss necessary infrastructure and other related matters.
In his address, the Dean, Prof. Ass. Dr. Ferdi Kamberi, outlined the envisioned structure and modalities of the Master’s program that the faculty intends to apply for. Prof. Ass. Dr. Sherif Sejdiu, Vice-Dean, focused on the academic content, presenting several key courses that would form the core of the program. Meanwhile, Assistant Mirlinda Jasiqi expressed her full support and commitment to helping students pursue their academic and professional development.
Following the presentations, an open discussion with the students took place. The students welcomed the initiative, emphasizing the importance of having a Master’s program in the field of social sciences within the Dukagjini region. They highlighted the need for such a program to be strongly connected with practical work experience and aligned with the demands of the labor market.
These meetings are part of a broader series of consultations between academic staff, students, and other stakeholders, all aimed at strengthening the academic profile and development of the Faculty of Social Sciences in line with its long-term strategic goals.
