
Faculty of Social Sciences accepts literature in Braille for spoken language
The Faculty of Social Sciences at the “Fehmi Agani” University in Gjakova has officially received a portion of academic literature printed in Braille from the NGO Lions Club Istog. This important donation will provide blind students with essential resources for their educational process. The donation includes books and guides from the field of social sciences and was accepted by the Dean, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Ferdi Kamberi, and the Vice-Dean, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Sherif Sejdiu. At the acceptance ceremony, they emphasized the importance of this collaboration in creating a more accessible infrastructure and a more inclusive environment for all students.
This project was realized thanks to the cooperation of the Association of the Blind of Gjakova, represented by its President, Mr. Mark Pjetraj, in partnership with Mr. Nexhmedin Beqiraj, President of the Lions Club Istog, and Mr. Enver Ulaj, Coordinator at the Resource Center for Learning and Counseling “Xheladin Deda” in Peja, who was engaged in the preparation of the materials. The attendees emphasized the support to the students of the Faculty of Social Sciences, also highlighting the continuation of other projects of common interest. This cooperation is a concrete step in fulfilling the recommendations of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency, underlining the commitment of the Faculty to continuous improvement and quality standards
