Representatives from "Fehmi Agani" University part of the training for micro-credential courses within the WB EDU4MIGRATION project

The Rector of the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova, Prof. Ass. Dr. Drilon Bunjaku, the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof. Ass. Dr. Ferdi Kamberi, and university professor Prof. Dr. Behxhet Gaxhiqi participated in a two-day training held at AAB College on micro-credentials courses within the framework of WP4 of the WB EDU4MIGRATION project.

During the two-day training, the following topics were discussed: the definition of micro-credentials in the context of modern education; the exploration of their key characteristics and core components, helping to understand how these small educational units can provide significant value in developing specific competencies; the review of micro-credential course models, highlighting the diversity of approaches that can be applied in practice; the evaluation of an online course developed within the PAgES project for capacity building in cross-media journalism education; as well as an analytical overview of the CLIP project – Critical Literacy of Visual Media and Empowerment, funded by the European Union Erasmus+ programme.

As a result of this training, project partners will begin developing and piloting micro-credential courses/subjects based on European Union standards and recommendations in the field of modern education.

The project is funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ programme in Kosovo and includes a broad partnership of colleges, institutes, and universities from Kosovo, Albania, Denmark, Italy, and Austria. Participating institutions in this project include: AAB College, International Business College Mitrovica, University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova, Institute for Research, Education, and Social Development, University of Tirana, Barleti University, LOGOS University College, Roma Institute of Culture in Albania, UCL University College, Fachhochschule Salzburg, and IULM University.
