The Faculty of Social Sciences has officially become a member of the European Association of Schools of Social Work (EASSW), making it the only institution in Kosovo to be part of this prestigious European organization. This membership follows the faculty’s accession to the International Association of Schools of Social Work (IASSW), a body affiliated with the United Nations and represents an important step toward internationalization and the enhancement of academic quality in the field of social work.

Through this membership, the faculty gains access to European academic networks, scientific journals, international projects, conferences, as well as support for curriculum development and the maintenance of high standards in social work education.

This achievement also fulfills one of the key recommendations of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) for the Faculty of Social Sciences and its study program “Social Care and Social Welfare.”
