Students of the Faculty of Social Sciences take part in the International Student Conference “Social Worker and Migration in the Western Balkans – Edu4Migration”

Students of the Faculty of Social Sciences: Elda Gacaferri, Blerina Rrustemi, and Era Sylmetaj – presented their work today at the International Student Conference “Social Worker and Migration in the Western Balkans,” held within the framework of the Edu4Migration project.

Elda Gacaferri and Blerina Rrustemi presented on the topic “The Role of the Family in Preventing Serious Illnesses in the Context of Migration”, while Era Sylmetaj presented “Domestic Violence and Its Impact on Psychological, Health, and Social Well-being: The Intersection of Migration and Education.”

This activity is part of the ERASMUS+ funded Edu4Migration project, involving a broad network of international academic partners.

University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova plays an important role in empowering students and academic staff through participation in international projects, creating opportunities for professional development, academic exchange, and strengthening research capacities. Through such partnerships, the university contributes to preparing students for contemporary challenges, especially in areas such as: migration, social welfare, and education by integrating them into international networks of collaboration and knowledge.
