Gjakova, 15 July 2026
The Faculty of Social Sciences has signed a cooperation agreement with the PTC Centre – Psychosocial Training and Children's Creativity Centre in Albania, marking an important step toward strengthening inter-institutional cooperation in the fields of education, social services, and professional development.
The agreement was signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof. Ass. Dr. Ferdi Kamberi, and the Executive Director of the PTC Centre, Ms. Fabiola Elezaj. The agreement establishes a framework for developing joint activities aimed at exchanging knowledge and professional experience, organizing training programmes, seminars, conferences, and other initiatives of mutual interest.
Through this partnership, both institutions commit to collaborating on the implementation of joint projects, promoting contemporary practices in the field of social sciences, and strengthening the professional capacities of both students and staff. The cooperation will also contribute to bridging the gap between higher education and professional practice by creating new opportunities for academic and professional development.
An important component of the agreement is the provision of training opportunities for students of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the PTC Centre. Through their active involvement in the Centre's activities and programmes, students will have the opportunity to develop practical skills, gain professional experience, and become familiar with the provision of psychosocial and community-based services.
This partnership is fully aligned with the Faculty of Social Sciences' vision of expanding its network of partnerships with professional institutions and organizations, with the aim of enhancing the quality of education, strengthening the practical component of academic studies, and better preparing students for the labour market.
