Faculty of Social Sciences Expands Its Network of Partners Through a Cooperation Agreement with the “Xheladin Deda” Resource Centre for Learning and Counselling in Peja
Gjakova, 16 July 2026
The Faculty of Social Sciences has formalized its cooperation with the “Xheladin Deda” Resource Centre for Learning and Counselling in Peja by signing a cooperation agreement aimed at strengthening institutional partnerships and creating new opportunities for the academic and professional development of students.
The agreement was signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof. Ass. Dr. Ferdi Kamberi, and the Executive Director of the “Xheladin Deda” Resource Centre for Learning and Counselling, Mr. Isuf Ahmetaj. Through this agreement, both parties commit to developing joint initiatives in the fields of education, social services, and professional capacity building, while also promoting the exchange of expertise and best practices to further enhance inter-institutional cooperation.
A key component of the agreement is the provision of opportunities for students of the Faculty of Social Sciences to undertake their professional internships at the Centre. Their involvement in the Centre’s activities and services will enable students to strengthen their professional competencies, gain practical experience, and bridge the gap between academic knowledge and its application in real-world settings.
This partnership reflects the Faculty of Social Sciences’ ongoing commitment to expanding cooperation with relevant institutions and organizations in order to enhance the quality of teaching, strengthen professional practice, and better prepare students for the labour market.
The establishment of this partnership was made possible through the dedicated efforts of MA (PhD Candidate) Granit Kelmendi, who coordinates students’ professional internships and works to expand the Faculty of Social Sciences’ network of partnerships with public institutions and civil society organizations.
