Faculty of Social Sciences signs cooperation agreement with NGO “Handikos” in Gjakova
Gjakova, March 30, 2026
The Faculty of Social Sciences has today formalized a cooperation agreement with the non-governmental organization “Handikos” in Gjakova, further strengthening its collaboration with key partners in the field of social services.
The agreement was signed by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Ass. Dr. Ferdi Kamberi, and the Executive Director of “Handikos” in Gjakova, Ms. Brilanda Ballata. This partnership aims to reinforce institutional ties through the implementation of joint projects, the exchange of professional experiences, and the active involvement of students in processes directly related to field practice.
Within the framework of this cooperation, special emphasis is placed on the development of students’ professional practice by providing them with concrete opportunities to engage in community-based activities and services. Through this experience, students will be able to enhance their practical skills, gain real-world experience, and build a stronger connection between theoretical knowledge and its application in practice.
The agreement was made possible through the engagement and coordination of MA Assistant (PhD candidate) Granit Kelmendi, who also oversees the process of students’ professional practice in public institutions and non-governmental organizations.
