Academic Staff of the Faculty of Social Sciences Presents the “Social Care and Wellbeing” Program to High School Students in Gjakova

 

Gjakova May 7–12, 2026

The academic staff of the Faculty of Social Sciences, together with students and administrative staff, organized informational meetings with high school students in the municipality of Gjakova during May 7–12, 2026, focusing on the promotion of the study program “Social Care and Wellbeing”.

During these meetings, students had the opportunity to learn more about the program, the academic and professional opportunities it offers, as well as employment prospects after graduation. The students showed great interest and asked questions related to the curriculum, academic staff, professional practice opportunities, student mobility, and the faculty’s infrastructure.

The “Social Care and Wellbeing” program was presented as a contemporary study program focused on preparing qualified professionals in the field of social services and social wellbeing.

At the end of the meetings, informational brochures about the Faculty of Social Sciences and the study program were distributed to the students. These activities are part of the faculty’s continuous commitment to promoting and strengthening its role in society, with the support of the Municipal Directorate of Education in Gjakova and the principals of the high schools.
