In regards to the collaborations with the public institutions and non-governmental organizations, the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University ‘’Fehmi Agani’’ in Gjakova, represented by Dean Prof.Dr. Ass. Ferdi Kamberi and Vice-Dean Prof. Ass. Dr. Sherif Sejdiu signed an agreement of cooperation with the Non-Governmental Organization ‘’Activism Roots’’ with a unit in Gjakova, represented by Mr. Ideal Zhaveli, the executive director.

This agreement marks the formal partnership between the Faculty of the Social Sciences and NGO ‘’Activism Roots’ in Gjakova, whose purpose is the mutual commitment for the promotion of the approach, completion of the mutual research, and the organization of other initiatives, which aim the formation of a more inclusive society that defends equality and social diversity.

Further, the collaborative initiative aims also: the mutual support for the realization of activities which lead to the development of the social and human sciences that enable the exchange of the experiences, the academic publications, texts ect., all of them being realized by the members of the academic staff and their scientific collaborators. In addition, it is also expected the ensuring of the availability of the scientific literature by each member of the institutions/organizations for the academic staff and scientific collaborators of the partner institution, aiming the activities of mutual interest and for the best of students, exchange of the professional staff, scholars and students, the development of the students’ practice in the premises of the Non-Governmental Organization Activism Roots, the creation of a wide communication network, including the members of the academic staff and scientific collaborators of these institutions, social worker professionals, and other significant related activities.

This Memorandum of Cooperation is a continuity of the collaborations of the Faculty of Social Sciences with the public institutions, non-governmental organizations and other partners.
