The Faculty of Social Sciences, within the framework of the University “Fehmi Agani”, has today signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Regional Employment Office.

The agreement was signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Ferdi Kamberi, and the Director of the Regional Employment Office, Mr. Kujtim Dula. The Vice Dean, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Sherif Sejdiu, was also present at the meeting.

This cooperation aims to strengthen the link between the theoretical aspect and the real needs of the labour market, by creating concrete opportunities for students and academic staff. The agreement includes engagement in awareness-raising activities, the implementation of social research, the organization of trainings, the development of professional internships for students, as well as coordination regarding their employment matters.

Furthermore, the agreement foresees the organization of joint activities, such as awareness campaigns focused on social issues, open lectures, seminars, and the active involvement of students in projects and other social initiatives.

The parties evaluated this agreement as an important step towards strengthening the role of the university in society and deepening cooperation with public institutions and civil society organizations.
