UFAGJ students are trained in the ethical use of GenAI and Artificial Intelligence at the University

At the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova, a workshop entitled “Artificial Intelligence and Ethical Use in the University Environment” was held for UFAGJ students, with a focus on understanding and practically applying contemporary Artificial Intelligence technologies.

The workshop was organized by the Didactic Center for Excellence in Teaching of the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova, in cooperation with the Association of Intellectuals “Jakova”, and was led by technology development expert Mr. Yll Ferizi.

During the workshop, students had the opportunity to become more closely acquainted with the latest developments in the field of Artificial Intelligence, including ChatGPT, image generation, AI-powered video creation, as well as the impact of these technologies on higher education and the labour market.

As part of the activity, several key topics were addressed, including:

  • Fundamentals of AI, GenAI and Agentic AI;
  • Learning with the support of Artificial Intelligence;
  • Ethics and privacy in the use of AI;
  • Prompt Engineering – effective formulation of instructions;
  • AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, NotebookLM, Perplexity and other platforms;
  • Creation of text, images, voice and videos through AI.

Students showed great interest in the topics addressed and were actively involved in the discussion, exchanging views on how these tools can be used responsibly, creatively and effectively in the processes of learning, research and professional development.

This activity demonstrates the commitment of the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova to fostering a culture of innovation, developing digital competencies and promoting the ethical use of new technologies within the university environment.

Through such activities, UFAGJ aims to prepare students for the challenges and opportunities of the future by bringing them closer to the latest technological trends and contemporary practices in education and work.
