Prof. Assoc. Dr. Laura Naka took part as a teaching staff member of the mobility program COMMO VII – ERASMUS + KA171, at the University of Salento in Lecce, Italy

During the period of 15th to 19th of  April, Prof. Laura Naka offered lectures that focused on the importance of English as a foreign language and its role in the continuing education of students and teaching strategies that help in students' English language learning improvement. The lectures were held in the presence of students and academic staff Monica Genesin, professor of Albanian Studies and Delegate to Internationalization at the Department of Humanities; Paola Leone, professor of Foreign Languages Teaching; Pietro Iaia, professor of English Language and Delegate for Orientation at the Department of Humanities and Thomas Christiansen, professor of English Language.

Titled lectures: Teachers’ and students’ code-switching from L1 to L2 and vice versa in EFL classes, Differentiated instructions: "Does one size fits all" and Portfolio as a tool that promotes learning, aroused interest and debate among students.

Of particular importance was also the visit to the library and the Archaeological Museum in the Studium 2000 Center. The headquarters of the Humanities departments of the University of Salento are also located in this part. During her stay, Prof. Laura Naka met also colleagues at the Department of Cultural Heritage: Flavia Frisone, professor of Ancient Greek History; Rita Auriemma and Milena Primavera, professors of Archeology in this department.
