
Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the Faculty of Social Sciences and Bethany Christian Services
The Faculty of Social Sciences at the University ‘’Fehmi Agani’’ in Gjakova, represented by the Dean Prof. Dr. Ass. Ferdi Kamberi and Vice-dean Prof. Ass. Dr. Sherif Sejdiu today signed a memorandum of cooperation with Bethany Christian Services with headquarters in Gjakova, represented by Mr. Berat Thaqi-egzecutive director.
This agreement of cooperation strengthens further the partnership between the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Organizations of the Civic Society, which aims the mutual commitment to promote the approach and the realization of the mutual research, as well as the organization of other initiatives, which aim the creation of a more inclusive society, in order to defend and promote social equality and diversity.
Further on, the collaborative initiative aims as well: the reciprocal support for the realization of activities which foster the development of social and human sciences, enable exchange of experiences, academic publications, realized texts by the members of the academic staff and their scientific collaborators, enabling of the access of the scientific literature for each of the institutions for their academic staff and scientific collaborators of the partner institutions for the purposes of the mutual interest activities and for the students, exchange of the professional staff and scholars (Professors, directors, official editors or researchers-for research, informing, lecturing-Alumni, studying, projects).
Likewise, the agreement predicts also the development of the students’ practice in the premises of the Bethany Christian Services, the creation of a wide network of communication, including the members of the academic staff and scientific collaborators, as well as the organization of the mutual scientific conferences, symposiums, academic forums, seminars, open lectures and trainings.
This Memorandum of Cooperation is a continuation of the collaborations of the Faculty of Social Sciences with public institutions, non-governmental organizations and other partners.
