UFAGJ is highly evaluated in ORCA’s report for transparency and accountability
The University ‘’Fehmi Agani’’ in Gjakova has been ranked one of the most transparent institutions in Kosovo, according to the latest report published by Organization for Quality Increase in Education (ORCA) for 2025. According to this report, UFAGJ has achieved a transparency index from 0.94, publishing more than 90% of the documents and information that are required to be made public according to the standards of better governance in higher education.
In this report it is emphasized the commitment of the University in the increase of the institutional accountability and transparency, in particular through the decision to transmit directly the Senate Meetings, as well as the commencement of the preparations for the transmission of the Steering Councils’ and Faculty Council meetings. These measures have been undertaken proactively by the leadership of the institution, without any external pressure, as a proof of the University’s striving for an open governance. Likewise, UFAGJ is the only institution that has published data on the number of graduate students over the years, an important step towards complete academic and administrative transparency.
On this occasion, the Rector of the University, Prof. Ass. Dr. Drilon Bunjaku, expresses his gratitude for all the staff and structures included in this achievement, emphasizing the fact that this evaluation is a stimulation to continue the improvement of the quality of services and being open to the public.
UFAGJ remains dedicated to be a model of good governance, based on transparency, professionalism and integrity.
