Rector Bunjaku represents UFAGj at the Central European Joint Infoday 2025 in Brno
The Rector of the “Fehmi Agani” University in Gjakova (UFAGj), Prof. Ass. Dr. Drilon Bunjaku, is representing UFAGj at the Central European Joint Infoday 2025, a major international event taking place on 1–2 December 2025 in Brno, Czech Republic. This event brings together representatives from higher education institutions from Central Europe and partner countries outside the EU, with the aim of strengthening and expanding international academic cooperation. UFAGj's participation in this event offers the university direct opportunities to expand networking with international universities and partners, as well as to explore new project opportunities within the Erasmus+ program, especially in the 2026 call. During the event, the three main pillars of the international components of the Erasmus+ program are addressed:
- Erasmus Mundus (Joint Masters and Design Measures)
- Capacity Building in Higher Education
- Jean Monnet (Chairs, Modules, Centres of Excellence and Networks).
Rector Bunjaku expressed his gratitude to the Erasmus+ Office in Kosovo, especially to Ms. Mimika Dobroshi, for the continuous cooperation and support of Kosovar Universities to be represented in such international activities. He also emphasized that UFAGj remains committed to opening new partnerships, creating bridges of cooperation and expanding opportunities for mobility and academic development for students and staff. Participation in this seminar constitutes an important step towards strengthening the international dimension of the university and increasing its presence on the European academic scene.
This year’s event represents a novelty with the inclusion of 18 higher education institutions from Colombia, Kosovo and Malaysia, making this edition particularly dynamic and inclusive. It is worth noting that several higher education institutions from Kosovo are participating in the event. During the last day of the seminar, representatives of the institutions are participating in information sessions, practical workshops and meetings dedicated to networking, creating new spaces for future collaborations.
The senior management of the "Fehmi Agani" University in Gjakova remains committed to the worthy representation of the institution in the international arena and to the creation of new opportunities that contribute to the development of students, academic staff and strategic international partnerships.
